The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, demons, and dark forces growing in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of characters who will separate from the main group to undertake their separate journey, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes the determined fighter (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (the actor).

The Reason for Division

With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look out of place, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the party knows exactly where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—exploited the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each character has a individual motive to depart the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in the influential clan could help the group reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his salvation and will now follow him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Questers and Schemers tables.

Fans can look forward to discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, released on next week.
